On 12 June 2019 took place the International Forum on Modern OSH Organisation in Europe for the fifth time. This time, more than 80 visitors attended this outstanding event which takes place regularly every two years alternately in Germany and Luxembourg. The organizers are the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the energy, textile, electrical and media products sectors (BG ETEM), the Luxembourg Accident Insurance Association (AAA) and the ISSA Section for Electricity, Gas and Water.

The aim of the event is the bilateral exchange between Luxembourg and German on current topics in the field of occupational safety and health management systems, OSH organisation and other related prevention topics always with a view to Vision Zero.

As a special highlight, the ISSA Electricity Section officially launched the “Guidance on the Safe Management of Contracts”. The new publication of the Electricity Section is now available for download in German, English and Spanish. The brochure is as a practical guide for both clients and contractors (including subcontractors) in the implementation of contractual arrangements between the various parties.
