The ISSA European Network (IEN) is organizing a Technical Seminar on the topic of communication in social security, from 29 to 30 October 2018 in Warsaw, Poland, hosted by the Social Insurance Institution (Zaklad Ubezpieczen Spolecznych – ZUS) of Poland.
Higher public expectations, the introduction of new reforms and the necessity to build and maintain trust, public support and a positive image highlight the need for social security institutions to communicate efficiently and appropriately to their various stakeholders.
This seminar will address key challenges related to communication, such as the strategic dimension of communication and the delivery of adequate information about new reforms or in times of crisis. It will look at the role of senior management to enable and guarantee good communication in order to build trust and a social security culture.
Finally, the seminar will provide an outlook at new technologies and the opportunities they represent for social security institutions by offering them new channels of communication.
This event is open to ISSA member organizations from the European region. The working languages will be English and Polish. Interpretation in these languages will be provided.
The provisional agenda and further information about registration, accommodation and other practical matters will soon be available.
