The First Vision Zero Summit was held in November 2019 on invitation by the Finnish Institute for Occupational Health (FIOH) and provided a forum for discussion about Vision Zero both as a new workplace prevention strategy and a new holistic mind-set, which is based on the belief that all work injuries can be prevented if the safety, health and well-being of people comes first.
The Second Vision Zero Summit will also be focused on discussing different aspects of Vision Zero, taking the Vision Zero thinking and actions to the next level, and sharing best practices and lessons learned.
The Vision Zero Summit Japan 2022 will consist of 16 exciting technical Sessions presenting innovative solutions to a wide range of topics critical to redefining safety, health and well-being for the New Normal.

The International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in Agriculture will organize a session L entitled "Agriculture and OSH Agri (OSH) Culture". During this session the participants will have an opportunity to learn about present current occupational hazards faced by farmers during their work and solutions to prevent them to maintain safety, health and wellbeing of farmers. The session will be organized in three following subtopics:
- Environmental hazards and challenges,
- Use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence,
- Unbearable burden of stress – mental health and wellbeing.
