Responding to the evolving needs of an ageing population brings significant challenges, mainly providing adequate and quality long-term care (LTC), health and social care services in an efficient and financially sustainable manner.

Innovation is key to ensuring that LTC services are timely, comprehensive and affordable, allowing a decent standard of living for people with LTC needs. Innovative strategies need to be designed based on each country’s needs and capacities. This should allow to increase the offer of alternative LTC services (homecare, community-based care and residential care), including through accessible digital solutions, and a qualified workforce, to ensure these respond to the needs of the elderly, in a more engaging environment.

As part of the ISSA’s cross-cutting project on LTC, this webinar will provide a contemporary snapshot of innovative strategies shared by international organizations and ISSA members to support countries in responding to the growing LTC needs in a financially sustainable way.

Join us for this seventh ISSA Webinar on LTC, as part of the series of webinars on various aspects on this major challenge related to ISSA’s triennial topical priority on ageing societies.
