The International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP) is an integral part of the World Congress on Safety & Health at Work that happens every three years. The festival showcases films and multimedia products on safety and health at work. Winners are selected by an international jury. Awards are announced and presented at the Special Media Session that opens the World Congress. This year’s Toronto Congress is postponed until September 2021.
 
Prior to the COVID-19 shutdown, the festival received 289 outstanding media products from all over the world. Due to COVID-19, the IMFP international jury met virtually and selected 50 media products from which nominees and winners will be selected. All Short List productions will be presented at the IMFP Cinema next year in Toronto.

The Short List will be announced on 6 October 2020 during the World Congress Digital Meeting being held online free of charge. To virtually attend, register in early September 2020 on the World Congress website at www.safety2021canada.com/specialsession

Winners of the IMFP will be announced and presented at the Special Media Session on 20 September 2021 in Toronto.
