These flaws led to long delays in file processing between retirement and first pension payment, sometimes lasting up to a year. To solve this problem, several actions have been undertaken ranging from simplifying the list of documents in a pension file to improving the processing circuit.

The unit checks that the files are complete, digitizes the required documents and passes them on to the processing units. This system has effectively contributed to reducing processing times, a development welcomed by pensioners belonging to the National Pension Fund (Fonds national des retraites – FNR) of Benin.
