It is necessary to strengthen HIV prevention measures through the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). In order to put its beneficiaries, especially those most vulnerable, at the heart of everything it does, the National Social Insurance Fund of Chad (Caisse nationale de prévoyance sociale – CNPS) has established a mechanism for paying bedridden people (pensioners and annuitants) in their own homes.

When payments are due, a team made up of social workers and an accountant visits the homes of these bedridden people to make the necessary payments.
