Guideline 11. Fostering a corporate team spirit in a hybrid workplace

The HR unit develops, strengthens and sustains the corporate team spirit by using data-driven technologies to link individual productivity and team performance to the institution’s corporate goals. The job satisfaction that arises from working in an institution that is recognized for service excellence in public service is a powerful intangible reward that fosters a corporate team spirit. On-site and off-site workers feel as much a part of the institution’s “One Team” as do members of blended multi- disciplinary teams. On-site and off-site staff members are treated equally, with no preferential treatment in career opportunities, rewards or recognition. Ample resources and support are available to respond to mental health and isolation issues. Positive results on gender equality, equal pay for equal work and respect for diversity and non-discrimination enhance further the corporate team spirit.
