Two seminars on Functional Safety and Validation to take place in May 2022

The ISSA Section for Electricity supports two upcoming seminars on Functional Safety and Validation, which are planned to take place in May 2022 in Detroit, USA and Toronto, Canada.

The first seminar, organized by the ISSA Section on Machine and System Safety and Ross Controls, will be held on 23–24 May 2022 in Detroit, USA. Registration for this seminar is now open. Here you find the event flyer.

A second seminar of the same name will be held on 26–27 May in Toronto, Canada, and will also be organized by ISSA Section on Machine and System Safety in cooperation with the Workplace Safety & Prevention Services of Ontario. Registration for the seminar is possible accessing the following link. Here you find the event flyer.

The objective of the seminars is to give an overview about international standards for machinery safety and their application. These standards provide manufacturers of machines with the basic technical rules for the design of safe machinery. During the seminars, basic knowledge of these standards and their use in the industrial area will be shared.

Please access the website of the Machine and System Safety Section or our events overview for further information on both events.
