The International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in the Mining Industry has started a new cooperation on Vision Zero with the ICOH Scientific Committee on Mining Occupational Safety and Health (MinOSH).

The ISSA Sections on Prevention in the Chemical Industry and on Machine and System Safety have published two new brochures (modules) on the explosion safety of bulk material plants.

On 11 January 2021, Jin Chan Ho became the Secretary General of the Section for a Culture of Prevention. Mr Ho succeeds Mr Kwon Jong Kyu.

Factsheets on Explosion Protection are now available. Produced by the Sections on Prevention in the Chemical Industry and on Machine and System Safety, the factsheets convey the most critical information regarding explosion protection.
