The International Social Security Association (ISSA) has celebrated the opening of its Liaison Office for East Africa in Kampala, Uganda. A technical seminar on digitization and innovation to extend coverage was organized at the same time.

The new international Master’s in social security has kicked off, 15 managers from nine social security institutions in eight countries participating in the first programme.

Over 460 social security leaders, experts and professionals gathered for the Regional Social Security Forum for the America (RSSF Americas) in San José, Costa Rica.
