The competition is aimed at rewarding the best initiatives and professional practices in the field of occupational safety and health (OSH) among students in vocational and technical training. This initiative of the Social Security Fund (Caisse de sécurité sociale – CSS) of Senegal is reserved for students and aimed at raising the awareness of future workers and employers, while also creating a dynamic of reflection and sharing in the field of OSH.
The works are evaluated by a jury according to criteria based on:
- Scientific nature or ingenuity.
- Originality
- Clarity
- Relevance
- Importance of the topic.
The works must be presented as a scientific poster covering the following elements:
- A practical case study.
- An OSH management tool/method.
- An illustrative image depicting an unusual work situation and the preventive measure to be recommended.
- A summary of good practices in OSH.
To ensure the best possible evaluation, the jury is cosmopolitan, with actors from universities, business, communications, vocational training and social security institutions.
