On 6 October 2020, the International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP) announced its Short List during the World Congress Digital Meeting.

Laws, regulations, and vaccine policy and distribution for COVID-19 vary depending on countries and even specific municipalities. However, basic prevention measures and communication strategies are often broadly applicable.

On 6 October 2020, the 50 media products that form the IMFP Shortlist were announced in the framework of the XII World Congress Special Session.
