Welcome to the Virtual Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific, which will be hosted on a dedicated online platform from 22−24 February 2022.

The International Social Security Association (ISSA) is organizing the most important social security event in the region of the year. The Virtual Forum will be a unique opportunity to share, learn and network for social security leaders and professionals across the region.

Agenda

Featuring high-level speakers from ISSA member institutions, as well as regional and international organizations, the Virtual Forum will put the spotlight on the key priorities, innovative solutions and strategic directions for social security in Asia and the Pacific.

The event will feature the following daily themes:

Tuesday, 22 February	Social security in Asia and the Pacific: Progress, challenges and solutions
Wednesday, 23 February	Innovating for a stronger social security administration in Asia and the Pacific
Thursday, 24 February	Strategies for meeting social security needs in Asia and the Pacific

The agenda will include a presentation of the new ISSA report on Priorities for social security – Asia and the Pacific, and a special session celebrating the results of the ISSA Good Practice Award competition for Asia and the Pacific.

Networking and interaction

A dedicated online platform for the event will facilitate networking between delegates. Participants will be able to connect, send messages, schedule one-to-one meetings and interact with speakers and peers.

Languages

The event platform will be available in English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, Arabic and Chinese.
