The XI International Symposium on Electrical Safety (SISE in Spanish) will be celebrated in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia on 16, 17 and 18 May 2019. This is a scientific event that aims to improve the quality of work of professionals in the electricity sector.

The XI SISE is hosted by the ISSA Electricity Section, CIER and BOCIER, the Bolivian Committee of CIER. The purpose is to share the latest innovations in electrical safety in the world.

The Symposium will focus on topics like:

• Successful prevention strategies
• New trends with an impact on electrical safety
• Occupational Safety and Health: Practical experiences and accidents examples

There will be a technical visit to the Hydroelectric Plant of Misicuni (40 km from Cochabamba).
