The ISSA European Network (IEN) promotes regional social security cooperation and networking, and supports the ISSA by promoting the Association’s products and services, organizing events, and facilitating the exchange of good practices among social security institutions in the region.
Europe has a long tradition in social security. Schemes are well developed and encompassing, usually with a high level of coverage. ISSA activities focus on the main challenges social security systems face in the region, such as ageing populations, changing labour markets and the emergence of new forms of work, as well as international collaboration.
To support its members in adapting to an ever-evolving environment, the IEN has launched Innovation workshops. These workshops allow members to share experiences and approaches on new technologies and their potential to automate internal processes, enhance customer experience and improve service quality.
The ISSA European Network identifies priority topics for social security institutions in the region, develops and implements a programme of activities for ISSA European members, currently via monthly webinars.
