The Central Administration of National Pension Insurance in Hungary is organizing the Budapest Pension Seminars traditionally in September to promote wider discussions to important professional issues and to provide a platform for experts to exchange their views and ideas.

The topic this year is the 'European Pension Systems: Fantasy or Reality'. The organizers have invited Hungarian and international experts to contribute ideas, reflections and proposals to discuss the major challenges on the European pension systems.

Pension systems vary widely across Europe. At the same time all European countries are experiencing the same demographic events, population ageing and migration. We believe this is an excellent starting point for discussion. This year, our conference is devoted to cover the EU migration trends and impacts, economic consequences and perspectives on European pension systems.
