As part of its digitization strategy, the Pension Fund of Morocco (Caisse marocaine des retraites – CMR) has developed an IT platform called “e-retraite CMR” for the paperless management of pension files. This platform serves as a data exchange interface between the CMR and employers, enabling the latter to scan pension records and transfer them to the CMR as well as monitor, in real time, the status of these files. It also keeps stakeholders and clients abreast of developments in their files.
The e-retraite CMR platform digitizes file management through the creation of an electronic pension file made up of scanned documents and documents with secure electronic signatures that have the same legal and probative status as hard-copy records.
This platform also grants employers secure remote access to the database used by CMR agents for the purposes of work-status and pension-eligibility checks.
e-retraite CMR is an ecosystem of more than 1,700 public administrations and 900,000 affiliate members. The platform will ultimately permit more than 25,000 files to be processed each year.
