The process of Proof of Life (PV) was based on stages, processes and the best technological resources available in 2011 (biometric collection). However, during the last decade there have been technological advances that have influenced and encouraged Angolan citizens to access to new technologies and allow the National Institute of Social Security (Instituto Nacional de Segurança Social – INSS) to progressively make available more agile and secure services to taxpayers, policyholders and pensioners.
In 2020, a PV model was implemented that was born with the DNA of innovation in the technological sector and in line with the strategies for the development and implementation of highly scalable solutions, which prepare the INSS to respond to future demands.
