Excellence in social security administration in the Americas
The ISSA Regional Social Security Forum for the Americas will take place in Mexico City, Mexico, from 11 to 13 April 2016, at the invitation of the State Employees' Social Security and Social Services Institute (ISSSTE).
Focused on excellence in social security administration in the Americas, the Forum will provide a key platform for participants, including ministers, CEOs and social security managers, to share information and analyse the most important social security trends and priority issues in the region.
A highlight of the Forum will be the ISSA Good Practice Award for the Americas recognizing achievements in the region.
Focusing on excellence in social security administration as a key condition for extending and sustaining social security coverage, the Forum programme will cover the following areas:
- Day 1: Developments and trends in social security in the Americas
- Day 2: Excellence in social security administration
- Day 3: Extension of coverage and Regional Social Security Summit
The Forum is open to ISSA members from the Americas region and invited participants only. The working languages will be English and Spanish, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
