Coverage extension is an imperative that many governments aim to achieve through time-bound plans to realize universal social security coverage. The ISSA Guidelines on Administrative Solutions for Extending Coverage offer practical guidance for member institutions to improve access to contributory social security programmes particularly for population groups that are difficult to cover.

The training course is designed for social security professionals from ISSA member institutions and who have a professional interest in the Guidelines covered in this training course.
How many people can participate
Each training course has places for up to 25 participants from ISSA member institutions.

Applicants should complete the online nomination form no later than 25 October 2018, supported by a nomination letter from their sponsoring institution indicating how the participant will be financed.

The cost of participating in this course is USD 1,600 including 50 hours of training, diploma certificate from ISSA and The Muhanna Foundation, Training material and catering (coffee breaks and lunch), excluding international air travel, airport transfers, visa and hotel accommodation.

The ISSA Academy diploma programme offers high-level training on the ISSA Guidelines for social security professionals. Each training course combines on-line assignments and on-site training on a specific set of ISSA Guidelines. The training courses are provided by members of the ISSA Training Consortium.
