The MPay government e-payment service is used as a unique mechanism for the payment of social benefits and allows citizens to receive payments by any legally available payment method.

The Information Technology (IT) industry was a productive industry, due to facilities granted to IT companies in the payment of social security contributions and income tax. As a result of a study, it was concluded that the creation of IT parks will contribute positively to the development of the IT sector.

The regulatory framework for IT industry parks was developed and approved. We mention the single sales income tax, which incorporated social and medical insurance contributions, as well as five other taxes and fees.

In these circumstances, ensuring the equality of treatment in social security for migrant workers is of critical importance. To protect the rights of Moldovan migrants, the authorities of the Republic of Moldova have taken steps to conclude bilateral agreements on social security with the main destination states of Moldovan citizens working abroad.
