Membership

The International Section of the ISSA on Prevention of Occupational Risks in Health Services aims to improve occupational safety in health services by the international exchange of experience. The Section brings together institutions and experts who are engaged in the promotion of occupational safety and health for health-care workers.

The Section is interested in obtaining additional members. Institutions and experts able to contribute actively to the realization of its tasks are welcome to join as members.

The advantages of becoming a member are:

  • meeting of experts from European and overseas countries;

Types of Membership

The Section offers two types of membership:

Full / Ordinary members

Open to members of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and non-profit organizations administering social security in health services.

Corresponding members

Open to organizations whose objectives are to promote and to improve social security in health services, particularly in the field of prevention and which are not qualified to become ordinary members, and individuals who are experts in health services and in occupational safety and health protection. The annual contribution for corresponding members is fixed by the Bureau.

Application for membership

Organizations and individuals seeking membership should send a formless application specifying the main objectives of the organization or the main field of activity to the Secretariat of the International Section of the ISSA on Prevention of Occupational Risks in Health Services, either by mail or by e-mail.

The Section's Bureau will consider all applications, and the Secretariat will inform applicants of its decision.
