The International Media Festival for Prevention 2021 is going to take place in the framework of the XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work from 20–23 September 2021 in Toronto. It is expected that over 200 film and multimedia applications will be submitted to the Festival.

The Festival

Since 1990, the Festival has regularly been run as an integral part of the World Congress for Safety and Health at Work. Awards are given to media productions that contribute to the improvement of safety and health at the workplace. Awards are presented in the categories ”Film“ and ”Multimedia“. All films and multimedia applications, e.g. web clip, Web TV, mobisodes, animation, fiction, documentary, TV spots, interactive media or web sites are admitted. Submissions can be made by accident insurers, enterprises or institutions that commissioned such media, as well as by agencies or film makers which produced the media.

The Organisers

The International Media Festival for Prevention is organised by two sections of the International Social Security Association (ISSA): The International Section for Electricity and the International Section for Information.
