CDG Prévoyance, a branch of Morocco’s Deposit and Management Fund (Caisse de dépôt et de gestion – CDG), is responsible for managing two institutions: the National Pension and Insurance Fund (Caisse nationale de retraites et d’assurances – CNRA) and the Collective Pension Scheme (Régime collectif d’allocation de retraite – RCAR). Its primary mission is to ensure the management of pension schemes and solidarity funds, while contributing to the country’s economic, social and human development.

At the time of its inception, the scheme had accredited all government facilities. Later on, in 2004, the NHIF started to accredit faith based, NGO and private health facilities to bridge the gap on the supply side at the public health facilities that were initially accredited. Due to members' complaints about the inadequacy of medical services obtained from accredited medical facilities, the NHIF considered what improvements could be made to its medical services package.

The keystone of the new approach is the creation of a unique Multi-Channel Virtual Front Office for both Institutions with a multi-level operational model that integrates Front End and Back Office. It includes the innovation of their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) into a single shared Contact Centre (CC).

Other institutions will probably be involved in the near future in the integrated Contact Centre. It will mean a further extension of the offered services and a merged front office of the social security institutions involved.
