The 4th International Strategy Conference will be linked with the outcomes of the XX World Congress on Safety and Health – Global Forum for Prevention 2014 in Frankfurt and build a bridge to the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2017 in Singapore.

The world in which we live and work is constantly changing. Not surprisingly, the requirements for successful prevention are also changing. Under the slogan Moving Ahead – Vision.Human.Work, the 4th International Strategy Conference on Safety and Health at Work will be taking a closer look at the top trends in what is currently being discussed in occupational safety and health.

The top 5 trends are: the implementation of Vision Zero as a global guiding strategy. The human being as the centre of prevention. Safe and healthy workplaces as part of comprehensive prevention. And finally the two great challenges for current and future generations: demographic change and the digitalisation of our working and private lives.

As with previous events, the 4th Strategy Conference will be innovative, interactive and process-oriented. Each of the five topics will be worked on from four different perspectives. These reflect the process of strategy development. The aims are to establish a concrete understanding of comprehensive prevention, to determine the short term and long term next steps for prevention, and to show how the different strategic approaches can be coordinated both nationally and internationally.
