A Technical Seminar for Social Security Actuaries and Statisticians will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, 27- 28 April 2010 at the invitation of the Social Insurance Bank of Uruguay under the theme Sustainable financing and extension of social security coverage".
The Seminar will focus on three main areas:
1. Financing of social security in developing countries and countries in transition.
2. Sustainable instruments to move towards universal coverage.
3. The role of projection models in assessing the optimal financing of social security.
